OMM HD was founded on the premise that high resolution formats will soon become ubiquitous, for video of course, but for audio production as well. And perhaps most importantly, that independent, non-profit and educational content producers need to remain vital and competitive in the face of these new higher cost formats. We are trying to address the intersection of these realities in a few ways.
Because of our fervent belief that artists should maintain principle ownership of their work, we strive to take advantage of field leveling technological advances to support this paradigm shift. On the human side of the equation we are dedicated to creating a "production hub" around which a community of artists and producers support each other in completing their projects.
Built by musicians with these things in mind, OMM HD has created a small footprint audio production and video post-production environment that provides professional music and/or video producers what they need to create affordable broadcast quality content in standard or high definition. And while you could safely describe our facility as “no frills”, you'll appreciate that we can help you bridge the cost gap between DIY and professional production in a number of ways.
Our A/V Lab/Studio seeks to find the optimum marriage of HD film/video and HD audio post production economically, yet without compromising too much. Drawing on 30 years experience in audio creation/production with the likes of Stevie Wonder, Nathaniel Watts, Lonnie Jordan, Michael, Daniel and John Simbelo, Rhet Lawrence, Teena Marie, Eddie Murphy, Tonic and many more, OMM HD sets high standards and seeks to deliver them affordably.
