First and formost A BIG THANK YOU TO MS. LEE ANN BUTLER OWENS OF LULLALEE PUBLICATIONS for all the years of support. The many contacts she has given us has helped double the familes we are able to help. Having been hit with 4 hurricanes in 5 years has only added to the pressure of helping many families who have fallen on bad times. Ms. Lee Ann has reached deep into her allready big heart and given our children not only hope but happiness. Inclosed are a few pictures of some of the children who have received items with her help.
Our local library has donated 20 computers which did not needed to be fixed. We returned the old ones to our local gov. and they made use of them by donating them to other non-profits.
Project Learn has donated over 500 used books in the name of Ms. Lee Ann we received from a local school to the Rotory Club. Project Learn knows she has supported children overseas. They were sent this week to Africa to needy children. One week after we donated these books the Rotory Club called me to met them at a warehouse where they had received 15 pallets of educational items. It was Christmas in September. Project Learn now has state of the art, DVD's, CDs, and books to distribute to our children.
Who ever said one person cannot make a difference should have taken a look at what one Lady is doing around the world. I said this before and I will say it again, she is our Angle on Earth. Wouldn't it be great if when one person reached out to help that the receiver also reached out and the next person did it and it would go on and on to the people in need.
This reminds me of what I once read. Give a person in need $10. and the next day they will be in need again. Give them education and you will feed them for life. Give the right person $10. and she will multiply it 10 fold. That's what Lullalee is doing.

Lullalee has been a wonderful, constructive addition to the children and families of the Skyline College community. The value of reading to children and of giving them ample opportunities to handle and experience books in early education has been documented in research as making a positive contribution to their reading readiness. In addition, students and volunteers are given a chance to develop skills with young children that will help them in their future work as teachers and parents. The program has made the Children's Center more visible on campus and has stimulated curriculum development to take on more of a literacy focus. The teachers are rejuvenated in their planning, and the children are taking steps towards literacy in developmentally appropriate ways. Bravo for Lullalee!
